Quickorder
Quickorder is an all-in-one restaurant management system designed to streamline operations for restaurants, cafés, and takeaway services. Their platform integrates point-of-sale (POS), mobile ordering, table booking, staff management, and guest loyalty systems.
Quickorder’s focus is on simplifying the operations of restaurant businesses, making it easier for teams to manage orders, payments, and customer engagement while driving sales growth through better data usage and insights.
The Challenge
Quickorder needed a robust backend infrastructure to support its comprehensive restaurant management system. This required building a highly scalable ordering system that could handle online orders, mobile payments, and in-person transactions seamlessly. They also needed smooth integration with third-party systems such as accounting platforms and payment providers.
Additionally, the system needed to support complex requirements like multi-location reporting and an API architecture that could be extended as they expanded their services.
The Solution
I developed the complete backend for Quickorder using Laravel, creating a scalable and secure ordering system that powers their POS, mobile, and online ordering functionalities. This included:
• Payment Processing: I integrated payment gateways to support multiple methods, including QR code payments, ensuring fast and secure transactions for both customers and restaurants.
• API Development: Built a set of APIs for easy integration with third-party services like accounting platforms and loyalty programs, allowing Quickorder to offer extended functionality without additional development.
• Third-Party Integrations: Integrated Quickorder with accounting systems for seamless reporting, as well as payment providers and other operational tools.
• Custom Reporting: Designed a reporting system that offers real-time insights into sales, costs, and customer data, helping restaurants make data-driven decisions.
• Template-Based System: Created a modular backend that allows Quickorder to build upon the system with new features or integrations as their business evolves.
